Let's find another way to light you up! Welcome to your new favorite game - American Mahjong. In partnership with the incredible Mrs. Mahj, we are hosting our first mahjong event at Allumér! Why do we love it and why does it fit with the mission of Allumér? Because this game presents an opportunity to slow down, be present, and connect; It’s also tactile, intellectually stimulating and confidence building. In this lesson Mrs. Mahj will guide you through her introductory American Mahjong card which will help you get to know the tiles and the flow of the game. We'll play some mahjong and have some fun. Most players require a second and maybe even third lesson to be prepared to play independently. Enjoy this experience in the beautiful and cozy new Allumér space.
