Welcome to your new favorite game - American Mahjong. Discover why this game is taking off like wildfire among all ages and walks of life. I'm thrilled to offer lessons in my cozy and gorgeous studio at Flourish Ayurveda Center in historic Columbia Tusculum right next door to Daylily. In this lesson you will learn the tiles, meet "the card" and play a round of American mahjong. I expect the winds will be in our favor and one lucky learner will experience the initial joy of declaring "mahj!". Pricing varies according to number of participants and is for full 2 hour session. Each participant will eventually need to purchase the current card from the National Mah Jongg League. I have cards for play during our lesson so all you need to bring are snacks and whatever drinks you like. Leave the rest to Mrs. Mahj. Most players require a second and possibly third lesson solidify their new skills. I recommend booking your Follow Up Lesson within 2 weeks of your first lesson if possible.
